November

We spent this month learning all about different colors.

Miss Amanda read us “Red is Best!” during snack and it turned out to be one of our new favourite books!

On green day we also measured all the kids to check their height! The kids were so excited to see how tall they were and how tall their friends were! They still check the chart every few days to see if they’ve grown.

The coolest thing in our blue sensory bin was the buttons! The kids were enthralled!

October!

We had a very busy month this month! We started off with a week of Tiny Tumblers. We had a blast with hula hoops, exercise dice, the trampoline, and more!

Next we had Lil' Scientists where we got to try out lots of cool experiments like Sink or Float, Magic Milk, Lava Lamps, and Bubbling Wizards Brew (instructions to come on the Lil' Scientist page). I think Bubbling Wizards Brew was our favorite by far! For our Thanksgiving class we got to spend the day with the other class which was so exciting!! It's so nice to make new friends and play with new toys.

After Thanksgiving we made our own playdough! It may be the best day we've had so far! Our photo day was just precious and everyone did so well!

Our trip to the Country Pumpkin was also a highlight where we got to feed and pet the animals, play in the playground, and have a delicious snack!

We finished off the month by celebrating Halloween. We made lots of Halloween crafts, played some of our favorite games with a Halloween twist, and joined with the other class for a bunch of new carnival games on Halloween day before ending with trick or treating!
