Awesome April!

We had a great time this April celebrating Easter, talking about bunnies, birds, spring, earth day, and ocean life, and going on a field trip to gymnastics!! Our kids are so creative and are learning so fast that everyday is super exciting and completely different than the days before. Here are some of our favorite things from this month!

The kids LOVED the ocean theme! We had an awesome reaction to everything from the kids. Shaela really like playing in the sand sensory bin!

We played a game called Under the Ocean where the kids had to dive into the ocean (under a sheet) and pull something out and figure out if it belongs in the ocean or not. Sebastian decided that a marker doesn't belong in the ocean!

The kids LOVED making their jellyfish float around the classroom. We also watched a video about jellyfish and they were fascinated. 

We visited the other class during ocean week and Miss Amy read us a really good story and we helped count the fish!

The kids had a blast with the whales in blue jello. We almost had to pull some away when their family came to get them.

After making their ears the kids watched a short video which told a story then explained muscular dystrophy on their level.

Recycling toss on Earth day!

We also talked about what we can do to help the earth! The kids even made a promise to help.

 

We're so glad our field trip to gymnastics finally happened!! The kids had a blast. Hold on tight!

For our first spring day we were stuck inside but we made the best of it! We made some really cute paper towel roll chicks.

We played in the dirt with bugs!

And stretchy worms!

 

And even made our own sidewalk!!

This was such a fun way to end the day!!
